Raj tharun is new talent in tollywood, who got good marks by all audiences within his first movie uyyala jampala. But his last few movies didn't left good impact at audience. Today he came to audience with his latest movie stand up rahul. It is also starring varsha bolamma as female lead and other well known actors like murali sharma,vennela kishore, indraja and few others. It is directed by santo and produced by Nandkumar Abbineni and bharath Maguluri. Let's see how it is?? 
Story -
Rahul is a confused youth,who is a also passionate for stand up comedy. His parents got separated and he leaves with his mother. He also don't believe in marriage. After he went to hyderabad for job, he fell in love with his colleague shriya. They enter a live in relationship. What's his parents story? How shriya changed rahul? That forms the rest of the story.

Raj tharun came with a new makeover and he performed well as rahul. His dressing and mannerism suited really well for movie.
Varsha bolamma as shriya delivered a good performance and her innocence suited for her role. Indraja is good in her role.
Murali sharma done a impressive job with his role. And the other are okay in their respective roles.

Firstly, romance is missed in this movies. It is a key point in this type of rom com genres. Movie is filled with some routine stuff. Director is failed to elevate scenes which had scope.
Technical aspects -
Music is good , as is the background music. Production design and stand up comedy set up looks good. Lyrics and cinematography are also good.
Director santo has done poor job. Even there is scope for romance, comedy, he doesn't elevate them.
Verdict -
Stand up rahul is a routine romantic drama. Due to lack of romance and emotions, it's disappoints audience.
